AN online modelling competition for high street store Next has been hijacked by pranksters voting a chubby ginger lad into the top spot.
Rolly polly Roland Bunce, 24, is among hundreds of models who entered the 'Next Model' contest in order to win the £2,000 top prize. But his bizarre appearance caught the eye of web pranksters who caused the competition — and Roland — to 'go viral' — prompting thousands of people to vote for him.
His popularity surged after his profile page was retweeted 1,500 times and 'liked' on Facebook by more than 10,000 fans.
