NEW Bounce won last night's semi-final of Britain's Got Talent after being branded "the ones to beat" by Simon Cowell.

The boyband - aged between 12 and 15 - were voted through to Saturday's final.
Simon told them: "I saw your audition, it was very dated. This time it felt like that you chose the song. I loved your version.
"This is the first time in two days that I've seen an act which I genuinely believe will be successful in the real world."

But Britney Spears tribute act Lorna Bliss - who danced with a plastic snake around her neck - was buzzed off by all the judges except Amanda.
Belfast crooner Herbie Armstrong, who performed Barry Manilow's Mandy, was branded "a singing bloodhound" by Simon.

BRITAIN'S Got Talent favourite Ronan Parke has urged fans to vote for him to win - saying he could not face having to apply for The X Factor if he lost.

The titchy warbler, 12, who sailed through Monday's live semi-final, said he was "extra nervous" facing Simon Cowell but glad it would only be twice. Ronan told TV Biz: "I'm so glad I entered Britain's Got Talent because The X Factor goes on forever. I don't think I could handle having to perform every week knowing that I could get criticised.
"That's why I like this show - as it's all over in a week."
Ronan would be a dead cert for X Factor victory but would have to wait four years, as the reality show is only for over-16s in Britain.
He admitted he was worried how Simon would take to him, adding: "I did really want to impress him. I didn't know what he was going to think of me. He sometimes comes across as mean, but he was nice to me.
"It added to the nerves, but I tried not to think about it. I was focusing on my performance and just making it the best it could be."
He said he had deliberately picked his mum's favourite song, Bob Dylan's Make You Feel My Love - famously covered by Adele.
He added: "Me and mum always sing that song together so it helped me deal with my nerves singing something I knew off by heart."
Ronan said he wanted to sing more adult songs as he was the complete opposite of teen sensation Justin Bieber, who he is forever being compared to.

He said: "I don't listen to Justin at all. I'm into a different sort of music. "I prefer the kind of songs I sing but that doesn't mean I want to be seen as this really serious kid.
"That would just be weird, a young boy singing really grown up stuff.

"I suppose I'd like a bit of what Justin Bieber has as he's really popular - but to be able to do what I want to do at the same time."

Ronan, from Norwich, said he was worried viewers would think he was too much of a dead cert and forget to vote for him in Saturday's final. He said: "I'd love to win but I'm not getting my hopes up."

PREACHER'S son Paul Gbegbaje reckons God sent Simon Cowell as a lifeline to save him from getting the chop from Britain's Got Talent.
The pianist was left praying for a miracle after the first two judges voted for rival stunt cyclist Joe Oakley, 19, on Monday night.
But when Amanda Holden and Simon chose him, the vote went to deadlock, and Paul, 19, right, survived because he had the most public votes.
"Simon was sent as a lifeline to help bring me closer to my dream," said the lad from Dagenham, East London.
"I honestly thought it was over. Waiting to hear if I'd got through was the most nerve-racking moment of my life."

GIRLS Roc dancer Stephanie Tripp still looked red hot yesterday - despite the sexy troupe failing to make it to the final with their raunchy routine.
Stephanie donned red jeans and bared her midriff for their appearance on ITV1's Daybreak.
The seven dancers, who perform with fire and a snake in see-through leotards, managed to get Simon Cowell on side, though. He even wants to book them for his next birthday party.

ANGELA Richen, 64, runs a dog dancing school and her toy poodle Teddy, 12, is her Billy Elliot. Angela said: "We are a cute act that the Queen would love - she loves dogs. With Teddy the age he is we will not get the chance to do anything like this with him in future years."

JAY WORLEY CROONER Jay, 18, started singing when just two and even plays gigs on school nights.
A big Frank Sinatra fan, the sixth-former of Beddau, near Cardiff, said: "There aren't many acts my age that can sing in so many different genres of music as I do. I feel diversity is a key factor to being successful."

STREET crew Abyss - made up of 11 dancers aged 17 to 28 from Lewisham, South London - dream of one day building their own dance academy.
Daryl Small, 23, said: "We aim to inspire young people and become role models. We want to travel the world."

THIS husband-and-wife bell-ringing team are hoping not to drop any clangers in front of the judges. Alan and Gay Cooper, 59 and 56, from Oxfordshire, said: "Our bells have a beautiful sound. It's a very British talent. We think handbells deserve to make it big in Britain again."

JAMES HOBLEY BALLET dancer James reckons his moves will turn Simon into a big softy.
The 11-year-old from Redcar, North Yorks, uses dance to escape from the autism he suffers.
He said: "I think my performance will make Simon emotional. I think he'll see my passion."

THE prospect of performing in front of Simon Cowell is enough to give this "horror rock" act nightmares.
Leader John Hayes Mabley said: "I've gone in a lion's cage but the thought of Simon watching me scares me to death."

LES GIBSON SCOUSER Les, 41, started doing impressions at school - mimicking Zippy and George from Rainbow for his teachers.
He now makes a living from performing at after-dinner events.
He said: "It's a joy to make people laugh, especially in economically troubled times. To see them creased up laughing makes me feel blessed."

THAI-born Nan, 28, from King's Lynn, Norfolk, says her routines are inspired by Bangkok's lady boy culture.
Nan, who moved to the UK four years ago, said: "I'm not too nervous about performing in front of Simon. Everyone thinks he's so nasty, but I think he's really lovely. I'm not going to waste his time."
