David Graves

CEO, Laureate Hospitality, Art, Architecture and Design Education

David Graves is CEO of Laureate Hospitality, Art, Architecture and Design Education. He has been with Laureate since 1997, when he joined as vice president of marketing for Sylvan Learning Centers.

Mr. Graves manages more than a dozen Laureate International Universities network institutions in the United States, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. During his tenure, Mr. Graves led the launch of international programs at Laureate network institutions in Latin America, North America, and Asia.

Before joining Sylvan, Mr. Graves was managing director of Northern Europe for Colgate-Palmolive Company’s Hill’s Division, and he worked in brand management for the Quaker Oats Company.

Mr. Graves earned his master of management at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, and his bachelor's degree at Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism.
