Honorary Chancellor of Laureate International Universities Network

President Bill Clinton, founder of the William J. Clinton Foundation and 42nd President of the United States, serves as Honorary Chancellor of Laureate International Universities. As Honorary Chancellor, President Clinton provides advice in areas such as social responsibility, youth leadership and increasing access to higher education. He also encourages civic engagement and youth leadership on important social issues during his appearances at Laureate university campuses.

Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School is the first private educator in Australia recognized by the World Tourism Organization's international education audit system.

Hunan International Economics University, China , is one of the largest and most reputable private universities in China, serving more than 30,000 students.

INTI Education Group has been recognized by Malaysia’s minister of education for having the highest number of accredited programs and highest international student enrollment of any institution of higher education in Malaysia.

Sichuan Tianyi University was one of the first private diploma-accredited schools in China and is ranked among the country’s top 75 private institutions.

Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, affiliated with Laureate through our partnership with Liverpool University, was the first joint-venture university approved by China’s ministry of education.

North America

Kendall College is ranked among the top 10 culinary schools in the United States, according to a survey of 150 of the country’s Cordon d'Ortop food journalists and culinary industry leaders. Kendall was awarded the Academy of the Culinary Arts Cordon d' Or--Gold Ribbon Cooking School of the Year Culinary Academy Award for 2008. Dean Christopher Koetke received the inaugural Award for Excellence in Culinary Education from the Foodservice Educators Network International, and he was named the 2009 Cooking Teacher of the Year by the International Association of Culinary Professionals.

Walden University’s online graduate-level programs are ranked, by enrollment, No. 1 in education and public health, and No. 2 in nursing, according to U.S. News & World Report in April 2009.

Vina del Mar Universidad Viña del Mar (UVM, Chile) Founded in 1988, Universidad Viña del Mar provides degrees in fields such as architecture, education, engineering, business, history, and geography. The university is a major academic, cultural, social, and technological center in the Valparaiso region.
IBMR Uni IBMR (Uni IBMR, Brazil) Founded in 1974, Uni IBMR is located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Uni IBMR is a Centro Universitario with a strong reputation in health sciences. Its physiotherapy and psychology programs have been ranked No. 1 in Rio de Janeiro and No. 8 in Brazil by the Ministry of Education. Uni IBMR also offers degrees in biomedicine, nursing, nutrition, speech therapy and optometry. It serves more than 1,100 students on two campuses.

Media Design School logo Media Design School (New Zealand) Media Design School was founded in 1998 and is located in Auckland, New Zealand. The school offers diplomas and graduate diplomas.
