Honda Siel has had a stunning run at the box office ever since their entered the Indian Market. They have always provided their best in class, while retaining a solid brand value amongst customers. Now with the advent of new models, Honda is not going to leave the Indain customer behind.
The latest iteration-the 8th generation Honda Accord, is ready and India bound. Expected within the first half of this year, the all new Accord ups the scale on the D segment. Featuring a revolutionary new design which moves away from the streaked back headlights and snub tailend, the new Accord is now more muscular and fits in with the latest look of executive business class machines.
The revised design is a style statement in its own right, but that's not all. The new Accord comes fitted with all the gizmos and goodies to make sure its occupants are pampered. Basically the interiors are a are touch of luxury with advanced functionality.
The other major change in the new Accord lies under the hood. The 8th Generation Accord is set to come in with different engines than the current Accord. On the cards is also a 3.5 litre V6, which literally make this India's performance sedan. If you have the dough, this is one car worth waiting for.
Also on display at the Honda stall at the 9th Auto Expo is their small car-Jazz. This premium hatchback is stylish and has the makings of a global best seller. As expected from Honda, this car is touted to have exceptional fuel efficiency, yet provide a powerful powertain to retain that "Honda Driving Pleasure".
It is a roomy car that should have class leading interior space. When is it coming to India? Well, it might be speculative but, Honda Siel is set to bring in a small car to India in 2009. The land for the factory has been acquired in Rajasthan, and work is under way. Indsutry officials are tight lipped about which exact model will be, but the Jazz could possibly fit the bill!
