IN MEMORIAM
The Pentagon released the names of two soldiers killed in Afghanistan: US Army SGT Ken K Hermogino, 30, Edwards Air Force Base, CA
US Army 1LT Demetrius M Frison, 26, Lancaster, PA.
According to iCasualties, the total number of allied servicemembers killed in Iraq is 4,770; in Afghanistan, 2,453, of whom, 155 are Canadian.
During this same period, Iraq Body Count lists 59 Iraqi civilian deaths. And dozens of civilians have been killed in various battles through out the Middle East.
