PUDUCHERRY: Ruling Congress won the Mahe assembly constituency in the Union Territory of Puducherry with health minister E Valsraj retaining the seat on Friday.
Valsraj defeated his nearest CPM rival T K Gangadharan by a margin of over 6,000 votes in Mahe, an enclave of the Union Territory in Kerala.
