ALLAHABAD: Reacting against ongoing drama of hunger strike of Baba Ramdev, former advocate general of UP, SMA Kazmi, has termed it the best example of the growing trends of consumerism in present socio-political scenario.
He said Baba Ramdev, who is said to be the trustee of hundred of crores, should disclose the assets of his trust and the divulge detail of his financial resources to the public before indulging in such agitations. Kazmi also criticised the politicians, ministers and political groups who are attaching so much importance to a person who is merely a commercial entrepreneur.
It is high time that the politicians should take up serious issues and should address to the grievances of public by adopting the known and conventional methods of politics, which should reflect seriousness and idealism instead of wasting the time in pleasing their political bosses, Kazmi added.
