Wedding is an important event and thus must be planned and organized perfectly. Itscustoms and procedures vary from country to country. The ceremony strongly

Steps to Planning: Months in advance

First of all decide the date and then start preparing a detailed checklist toidentify all tasks and activities to perform, within the limits of your budget.
Decide the event venue: home, hotel or wedding hall. If ceremony is at a home,
consider all possible improvements and decorations. Do the wedding shopping:
special dresses for bride and bridegroom, jewelry, shoes, honeymoon attire, wedding
attire for particular participants. Prepare legal documents if required and
plan living arrangement after marriage.

Steps to Planning: Days in advance

Create a list of Guests and send out invitations. Select and hire weddingprofessionals and service providers: caterers, photographers, videographers,
decorators, musicians, beautician, florists, bakers and live bands. Reserve
rental items: chairs, tables, cutlery, crockery, and candelabra etc. Choose
reception food, ceremony music, reception decorations, reception layout and
seating arrangement and reception format: buffet or sit-down dinner. Shop your
wedding gifts and guest book. Plan your honeymoon: passports/visas, tickets,
and bookings. Make arrangements of accommodation for faraway guests. Make hotel
reservations if required. Select and book wedding bands, order wedding cake,
arrange ceremony readers, ushers to seat your guests, guest book attendant and
collector for wedding gifts.

Wedding Day

Prepare a list and timing of events and assign duties to different persons involved.Wear your wedding dress, prepare bride's makeup purse and make sure every
person and item, required during the ceremony, are in position. Receive guests,
receive gifts and participate the dinner. Make final payments to service
providers and return the rented items.
