Three Fun Bridal Shower Themes for the Quirky Bride

These days, bridal shower parties are given as much importance and preparation as the actual wedding ceremony itself. And why not? Bridal shower parties provide a venue for family and friends to celebrate a new chapter of life, sending the bride off to married life in enjoyable and entertaining ways.
If you are currently planning a bridal shower, let us suggest three fun bridal shower party themes that will surely entertain and wow your guests.

Let's Go to the Movies!
A cinema inspired party is a fitting theme for a bride whose passion includes going to the movies.
Send out homemade movie tickets as invites and have fun decking the venue walls with “movie posters” showcasing photos of the bride and her groom (this is where those wonderful pre-nuptial photos can come in handy). You can also rent out a small projector and play a short film you created about the bride, starring her family and friends who can give her encouraging messages for her upcoming marriage.
Most importantly, fill your candy dishes with jellybeans and don’t forget to stock up on popcorn and soda, because they definitely cannot be missed in this party!

Put on Your Pajamas
If you are working on a tight budget, a simple, good ol’ pajama party promises a fun as well as cozy environment for you and your guests.
Make the ambiance more welcoming by lighting some floating candles and placing them in small fishbowls around the room. These are guaranteed to relax your guests as you serve them cakes, pastries and drinks. Bring out the fun and play some familiar slumber party games like Twister or Pictionary (all with a ‘bridal shower’ twist, of course), and afterwards gather around a pool of pillows for an end of the night pillow fight.
Party favors, you ask? A pretty set of dreamcatcher charms will surely be a nice keepsake from this pajama party.

Stage Your Own Rock Concert
Is the bride a music-lover? Perhaps she’d always wanted to be part of a concert or be in one, so why not give her a rock concert bridal shower?
Create a small stage for a band to perform on—it would be nicer and much more heartfelt if the bride’s own group of friends would go up and play songs for her—and jazz up the place with vinyl records that double as picture frames featuring the bride and her family and friends. Play her favorite songs all throughout the party and invite her to come up on stage for a performance of her own.
Oh, and before your guests leave, make sure everyone samples the musical cupcakes arranged on your pretty favors centerpiece!
