Earlier this week, we were very happy to report that Barack Obama is calling for "the United Nations' top human rights body to combat discrimination against gays and lesbians around the world."
Here's what the Vatican's Archbishop Silvano Tomasi had to say in response:
"People are being attacked for taking positions that do not support sexual behavior between people of the same sex. When they express their moral beliefs or beliefs about human nature…they are stigmatised, and worse, they are vilified, and prosecuted."Way to come to the defense of HATE, Vatican.
We are NOT impressed.
