Exclusive: Fight For Your Right To Party

Time to party hard.. for a cause. It’s summer-ish (okay, spring) and that means, fake tanner on the legs, a cockail/ coconut water in hand, gloss on the lips, and time to enjoy the shedding of heavy winter sweaters and bummer ‘tude. Here are two events we are really excited about attending.
Why?
1.  Shmooze with compassionistas, celebutants, and factvisits (fabulous-activists) all for a good cause.
2.  Because everyone looks better in a tux/ gown.
3.  No soggy veggie plates and icky wine here, vegans know how to get down with gourmet fare and boozin’.
4. A night at a bar will never hold a candle to the glamour of a proper dressed up night out where you are fully supporting a cause
with your attendance, ticket purchase, and support.
You can buy tickets online for either of the events below (details below.) If you don’t live in either LA or NYC, it may be worth jumping on a cheap flight for these sort of extravaganzas! Can’t swing that? Okay – then donate an auction item to either/ both Mercy for Animals and/ or Farm Sanctuary (two of our favorite organizations ever) or support them with a few dollars you would otherwise spent on your morning cappuccino.
NEW YORK: FARM SANCTUARY 25TH GALA

LOS ANGELES: MERCY FOR ANIMALS GALA

Join Bob Barker and Mercy For Animals for an unforgettable evening to honor and support the brave undercover investigators who risk their safety to expose and end cruelty to farmed animals. This special fundraising event also celebrates Mr. Barker’s over 30 years of groundbreaking activism on behalf of animals, including his generous support of MFA’s investigative efforts – which have led to landmark criminal convictions, national corporate policy changes, and legislative victories, and inspired countless consumers to explore cruelty-free cuisine.
MFA’s Executive Director Nathan Runkle will be joined by one of the organization’s former investigators, who will share his touching first-hand accounts of working on the frontlines.
Hosted by James Costa at his beautiful home in the Hollywood Hills, this inspiring event will raise funds to elevate MFA’s lifesaving work – including the expansion of our investigations department and the launch of a Los Angeles office.
