CONCORD, Wis. - Polka lovers will be putting on their dancing shoes on two huge wooden floors for the Wisconsin State Polka Festival in southeastern Wisconsin this weekend.
The event will be held starting Friday at the Concord House, between Madison and Milwaukee in Concord.
There will be nine big bands featuring Dutchmen, Polish, Czech, Slovenian, and German style polka music. There will also be a Friday fish bake and Sunday polka mass.
The event is sponsored by the Wisconsin Polka Boosters and runs through Sunday.
