Sunday nights stunning news of Osama bin Laden's death boosted CNN to #1, outperforming rivals like MSNBC and Fox News Channel.
Sorry FOX, you guys just didn't cut it last night! Mostly because the large majority of your viewers go to sleep at 6pm. LOLz!
CNN was the most-watched news channel Sunday night with 7.8 million viewers during the 11pm hour when President Obama officially announced bin Laden’s death, while Fox News delivered 4.8 million and MSNBC had 2.3 million.
Between 10pm and 3am, CNN still won out with 4.1 million viewers compared to 2.8 million for Fox News and 1.6 million for MSNBC, making Sunday CNN's best performance in these hours since Election Night 2008.
