INDIA v IRELAND Match 22, M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru

Over 48: 6 runs, 1 wicket
Ireland: 207/10

The target is not a big one and with the powerful batting line-up that India possess it should not be a difficult task for them. Join us back in few minutes' time for the run chase!

Brilliant bowling performance by the Indian side to restrict Ireland to a decent total. It all went India's way right from the toss. They gave couple of early setbacks to the Irish side without too many runs on the board. However, Porterfield(75) and Niall O'Brien(46) knitted a 113-run stand for the third wicket but unfortunately for Ireland that was the only partnership of substance for them. Yuvraj Singh was the chief tormentor of the Ireland innings, claiming a five-for, his maiden and the first by a left-armer in CWC 2011. Zaheer once again was at his usual best, swinging the ball both ways and also succeeded in picking three wickets. Only negative for India from the field was that their main spinners, Harbhajan and Chawla went wicket-less.

M Patel to T Johnston

OUT! Plumb LBW! Full length delivery on middle and leg, bowled at 137.6 kph, Johnston misses out on a flick and is hit on the pads. Munaf appeals and Umpire raises his finger. Johnston straightaway asks for a review and the replay suggests that was clipping leg. The decision stays as it is and Ireland have been bundled out for 207 in 47.5 overs.
